Our process to ensure the right tutor for your family For part-time tuition, where contact time is limited, ensuring the best private tutor is essential to maximise efficiency and effectiveness in the tuition. All of our tutors are experts in teaching in their fields, and our rigorous recruitment process involves both interviews and recorded sample lessons with each tutor so that we can best ascertain their individual strengths and personalities. We speak to each family to understand their needs and the types of educators that each child responds best to so that we can put forward tutors who we specifically select to have the best chance of forming a strong rapport and effective tuition from the outset. Beyond this, we ensure that we only put forward tutors who are experts in the topics and specific texts (when relevant). We will put forward a range of tutors who we believe will best connect and motivate the child in their studies. Each tutor will come with a personalised biography written by us, references as well as the highest level of background checks, and a link to a recorded sample lesson they have given. Sample lessons or introductory calls can then be arranged. Through our process you can be confident that the educator you decide to work with is not only highly experienced and qualified, but also the right fit for your individual needs.
How we oversee tuition to ensure long-term success throughout and beyond the engagement. Unlike traditional tuition agencies, our service does not end once a tutor has been placed in a role. We stay actively engaged throughout the entire term of the engagement to ensure that key objectives are being successfully worked towards, and that the tuition can remain adaptive to a family’s needs. We understand that family circumstances and educational priorities can evolve over time, which is why we maintain a flexible approach that accounts for your changing schedule and requirements. Whether you need to adjust session frequency during exam periods, accommodate family holidays, or shift focus areas as your child progresses, we work closely with both families and tutors to ensure the tuition remains perfectly aligned with your current needs.

We offer initial assessments and subsequent reports across a range of ages and subjects so that you can ascertain where your child currently stands, where they are strongest, and those areas in which focus can be best given. These are particularly useful for preparation for 11+ and similar examinations, where students are not frequently examined at this age. Preparation for competitive schools and universities is also an area we can assist, whether it is forming admissions strategy (see below), or assistance in developing personal statements and interview technique.

For example, a student may have ambitions to study at a particular Ivy League or Russel Group university, or to study a subject or topic not offered in traditional education such as financial literacy. What if I am looking for tuition in a non-traditional subject. When it comes to studying areas outside of traditional curricula, we take a personalised approach to the needs of each student, seeking out subject specialists to help each child realise their goals. In the past we have developed short courses in vastly varied areas, including oil trading, financial literacy, sculpture, and pre-Socratic philosophy.
